Welcome to My World!

My name is Ashantae, and I want to welcome you to my little corner of the world. I am a serial entrepreneur, hopeless romantic, designer/curator of luxury spaces, and avid reader/writer. Most importantly, I am the proud mother to a 2 year old red head, Reign Charlotte.

As I quickly, (insert a dramatic cry, with ice cream stuffed in my mouth), approach 30, I can feel myself going through another change. I first felt this way when I hit 25. I was going through a break up, my life felt all over the place, and I realized I hadn’t accomplished things that were once very important to me. 25 hit me, and it was like I went into over drive, and evolved into this new mega woman.

I got my credit fixed up, had a baby, got my bachelors, grew mentally in the area of romance ( you’ll learn more about all of this as you continue to read about my journey in future post.). I opened my own event venue, which I co-own with my business partner, The Ellington Event Center.

Now, I’m 30 and it’s like I’m about to hit another level in this game of life. I accomplished all of my previous goals, and I’m not fully sure of what the next step is for me. Or maybe, it’s that inwardly I want to grow, but I’m not quite sure how I want to do that? So, the point of all of this is to be able to express myself, creatively through words and sharing pieces of my life with you.

Basically, I think the first step in my new journey is transparency. So, heres my virtual toast to you, and your endeavors, and myself, for taking this next step in life!
